Participants’ workshop packet will include
all necessary incorporation forms and materials to aid with the initial start up of doing business within New York
City/State under the umbrella of a Not-for-Profit Organization. Packet will also include detailed step-by-step
instructions on how to complete the Incorporation and 501(c)(3)(federal tax exemption) forms.The objectives of this workshop are to have all participants knowlegeable
and have their documents error proof and ready to be forwarded to New York State
Department of State Division of Corporations. Information will also be provided
on developing mini funding proposals on How to Request Funding from Local Government.
